Football looking to rebound after dropping two straight

The  football team commenced the 2018-19 season 2-0 with wins against the South High Titans and Liberal Redskins, but the past 2 games have altered the Redskins season. With losses to the Southeast Buffaloes and Heights Falcons, North has now dropped to a record of 2-2. With four games remaining before playoffs begin, many returning players have started to feel even more motivated than ever after winning two in a row to start the season and then losing their last two.

Senior Keymani Thomas mentioned “we got to have that winning mentality every game, we can’t underestimate our opponents even if on paper they look bad,” Thomas said.

The Redskins upcoming game will be hosted at South High (701 W 33rd St S, Wichita, KS 67217) on a Friday night in which the Redskins will go up against rival East High.
