AVID family night is on Tuesday, March 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is also a pot luck. Each student is encouraged to bring a dish or snack for the potluck. Along with the potluck, students can listen to SHPE which stands for Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. They will come and inform students about summer camp opportunities. As well as the underground facility (located near Walgreens) who will also come to inform students about youth group opportunities. Lastly, students can participate in a qr scavenger hunt that will give parents and students a chance to learn about colleges. AVID teachers encourage students to bring their families to come eat , learn and listen to fellow communities share opportunities.
