Hosa, which stands for Health Occupations Students of America. This club started in 2010 by Ms. Riley. They have fall conference in October and state conference in the spring. This club is to help students who want to be in the health department prepare for the professional world. People that have done and left the Hosa club has became pharmacists, doctors dentists and more. Some are in college currently studying to be on of those professionals. Bio med and Hosa are two different things. Bio med program is more academic. Any student can be in the Hosa program. This club meets every first white day of the week. When they go to competitions they can get anything the people throw at them.  Competition topics come in three topics: dentistry base, medical base and interventions. Another cool thing about Hosa club you get to meet different people in other countries and travel to places like California, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania. Hosa is a middle school high school and college stage. Ms. Riley has 47 members this year more than last years groups. Some students are in this club all through out 4 high school years and some continue in collage.
