If you’re interested in meeting new people and getting to show off your automotive knowledge get involved with Skills-USA. This is a student leadership club and consists of students who participate in automotive tech classes at North. Right now, there are only a reported six students active in the club and they are always seeking new members. Skills-USA is not only for high school students – there are also many colleges who offer it as well. This year the annual conference was held at North. District officers were elected at the meeting and the next meeting will be out of state . “We go out and enjoy ourselves, meeting new people and learning new things – it’s just a good time,” Mr. Allen said.
