C.E. Strange Scholarship

The C.E. Strange Scholarship is an annual  North High Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding academic record, leadership, and school involvement.  Each year three winning students receive $400 dollars towards their college education. Both male and female students are eligible for this award. The C.E. Strange Scholarship has been awarded to students since 1985. C.E. Strange was the first principal at Marshall Middle School after the school was built in 1939.  Strange also worked as principal at North High School from 1945 to 1968. According to the 1946 North High School yearbook Strange was heavily involved with his worked and was often seen representing North at many meetings.
