North has two new administrators for the 2016-2017 school year who bring many years of experience with them.

Associate Principal Ron Riley was relocated to North when Metro-Meridian was closed as part of the last year’s budget cuts. He had been the principal at Metro-Meridian for seven years. He described his first TP experience at North as very “unique”. He said that he had never supervised an event in 35 years where students had TP’d trees.

Assistant Principal E.J. Santos-Silva has taken over as administrator of Academy 2, after AP Lisa Riveros moved to Pleasant Valley Middle School. Santos-Silva was previously an administrator at Heights. He said that he has “enjoyed meeting new people, especially the staff”.

Santos-Silva and Riley both said one of their primary roles here at North is to work with seniors and increase the graduation rate.
