Friday Oct. 26, North had many AVID and HALO students volunteer at OK Elementary Trunk-or-Treat event. North students helped kids get to every car they could.

The Trunk-or-Treat involved people parking their cars with the trunk open, decorated in the Halloween spirit. At each trunk, they had an activity to do, which gave kids an opportunity to show off their costumes and their huge smiles and calling “Trick or Treat!” after completing the task to get some candy.

This Halloween season has featured a lot of these Trunk-or-Treat events. WSU also hosted one last Saturday. At the OK Trunk or Treat, they also had raffle tickets and door prizes. Prizes were simple, like three free tacos from Taco Bell, or a Freddy’s Treat.

Overall, the entrance fee and raffle tickets for made a great way to fund raise money for the school. Over 250 OK Elementary students attended.
