‘Kong: Skull Island’ Review

Paloma Cruz, Reporter

A team of explorers and soldiers travel to an uncharted island hidden in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the territory of monsters and super-sized animals, including the mythic Kong.

Kong: Skull Island premiered on March 10th with a gross revenue of about $142.60 million USD. On Rotten Tomatoes the film got a rating of 79% from critics and 76% as an audience score. Its fast paced and lives up to the original without just retelling the same story. It is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for brief strong language. It also has a runtime of 1hr and 58 minutes.

If you’re a fan of the original King Kong, I do recommend this movie.
