Palworld, with a tiny team of amateurs and a 10,000$ budget, has made something that can stand toe-to-toe with a 25 year classic and biggest entertainment brand in the world.  

The game has managed to secure an impressive “Very Positive” overall rating on Steam with nearly 200,000 reviews counted so far. The game seemingly came out of nowhere and has enjoyed incredible, near-unprecedented overnight success, rising to the top of sales charts and breaking records

Palworld has been particularly big on Steam. Since its early access launch, Palworld has blazed past other games on steams most active players charts with an all-time peak of 2,101,867 players.

Many members of Palworld’s Steam fanbase have left reviews for the game, and the vast majority of them are positive. 185,342 Palworld reviews have been written at the time of this writing, leaving the open world survival game with an impressive “Very Positive” overall rating on the platform. 

the Palworld developers have been great when it comes to communicating with fans, releasing a content road map that acknowledged its biggest problems and promised to fix them before adding new features or other content to the game. 

Future Palworld will include PvP, raid bosses, new Pals, new islands, and more. Substantial updates should go a long way in bringing new players into the fold as well as convincing lapsed players to return, though it’s unclear if the game will ever be able to top its concurrent player record.
