By coincidence, Marlen ended up being on the North High Media team. On freshmen orientation, she realized she didn't have a first hour and she was luckily placed in 21st century journalism. After a while, she really took it seriously and now in her sophomore year she is in Digital Media Technology. She's now found a passion for reporting and finding out information to share. Although she enjoys journalism, her other passion is choir. She currently in two choirs here at North. One being the Nocturnes and the second Concert Choir. After all of that she does enjoy watching Disney movies or taking naps. All of this is very important to Marlen's life but the most important is her family. She is the youngest of 3. She wants to show them how deep her love for this class is by becoming a journalist in the future.
