Frozen and The Lego Movie have gained higher ratings than Endless Love and Robocop, both of which was expected to do well. The Lego Movie and Frozen earned a rating of 8.0 stars and above while Robocop and Endless Love barley walked away with a 6 star rating. Even in the numbers of viewers who voted on the movie Endless Love and Robocop combined do not even equal the amount of viewers as Frozen or The Lego Movie. While these animation movies were aimed for a younger audience group, teenagers and adults have fallen in love with them. You can hear teenagers in the hall singing “Let it go,” a song from Disney Frozen. If you walk into any movie theater and look at the audience during the screening, every member is either humming of singing along with the songs. Everyone is talking about these animated family movies. If you ask people of they seen Endless Love or Robocop, many will not even know what you are talking about. So what does this mean for action and romance movies? Will they all lose money to animated movies?
