The soccer team defeated South, 3-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 11. During the first few minutes of the game Freshman Uriel Aguilera scored an unassisted goal. As one of the two youngest players on the varsity team, he had the opportunity to show his  skills.

The five players who brought the win to North were Aguilera, Jose Marin, Elijah Harbin, David Lopez and Omar Martinez. Each of the players said they felt good in what they accomplished during the game. Each of these players has had a good start to this season.

Their goal is to communicate with one another and to be able to score more goals. “Talking more and communicating in the field is something to improve,” said Harbin.

“I can also improve on shooting the ball,” said Aguilera.

“I would like to improve on getting more assists or getting more opportunities to score,” said Martinez.
