Womens Soccer Shutout Against East

On April 4th, North High’s Girls Soccer team had their first city league game against East. North lost 4-0. A huge factor in this ending was the fact that the weather hasn’t been the best lately. “The wind definitely made an impact on the way we played,” said Kassandra Mendez, a senior on the girls soccer team.  Another factor was leading scorer Junior Nayeli Gallo did not play. She was not able to play as she is injured. East has been known to have a hard-to-play soccer team, so our team hopes to atone for the loss at the North Cup. “You get what you put into it,” Head Coach Curt Wullschleger said.
