The Success of the North High Blood Drive

Nate Bruce, Reporter

As of Monday, March 12th, North High has donated 66 pints of blood to the Red Cross. With 88 volunteers, 61 donated a pint, with 2 people going Power Red, which is a double donation of two pints. Next year, the blood drive at North High will be expanded with an additional 2 beds and nurses. The general consenus for this years’ blood drive was that the nurses did a phenomenal job. Sebastian Cordoba, a Junior, was especially ecstatic, saying “This was my first year donating, they did a good job making me feel comfortable, and they did it quickly, getting a lot of people through as fast as possible.”
