K-state Field trip Rescheduled

On February 20th,  a group of African American students from different schools were selected to attend a conference at Kansas State University.

The morning of the trip the weather started to get bad and the roads became icy. Although the roads were very icy, students still showed up and we still left and headed to K-state.

Almost an hour, maybe an hour and a half later one of CCC directors received an email that the field trip was canceled. She made an announcement to the students on the bus saying that all the other schools canceled, so Kansas State had no other choice but to cancel the trip.

Kansas State has rescheduled the field trip. The new date will be April 18, 2018.

Students look forward to attending the conference to see what K-State has in store for them.

Students looking to attend this trip will be provided breakfast and lunch, but if student would like to bring extra money, they may. Also students will not need anything as far as backpacks, paper or pencil, unless they would like to bring it.
