For the first time ever, in North Diving history, Senior Miguel Bernal won the state championship. For Bernal other than winning the state championship making friends and having fun was a prioritiy. “Most importantly having a good relationships with all of the kids from different schools is what I like more than just winning the championship,” Bernal said. Bernal took back home first place for North High scoring a 4.95 point difference from 2nd place. “Drive, motivation to do other things, and have a good time,” is what Bernal will take away from winning the state title.
