With only a month left in the season, the North wrestlers are showing their skills on the mats. The Redskins competed in a dual wrestling tournament at Kapaun this last weekend.

They Competed against five teams, “we ended up falling short 2 points against a decent Great Bend team”, Head Coach Quinton Burgess said. Junior, Angel Martinez went undefeated for the day.

With illness going around, it has given younger wrestlers the chance to “step up and make things happen”, Burgess said.

The next upcoming meet will be held at Southeast High school on January 18.
