Quinton Burgess is beginning his first year as the Redskin wrestling coach.  “All of our wrestlers look very determined and committed to working hard to get done what we ask of them,” he said about the start of the season.

North is known for its rich culture, and many students give their heart and soul, having a long heritage to live up to. But it take more than culture, heritage, heart & soul, according to Coach Burgess. “It takes good grades, to make sure our wrestlers are able to meet the requirements. That’s not only better for us, but better for them – to make sure they’re on the right track.”
Burgess takes over from former Coach Jake Johnston. “Coach Johnston will be missed, but wrestlers will live the North High spirit, as he wanted us to,” wrestling Brandon Kern said.
