No shave November

No Shave November comes to an end with many teachers, students and mothers excited for the clean cut of December.

The concept of No shave November
The goal of No Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Participants are asked to donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
No Shave November had many students and teachers involved.
English teacher Tony Douglas said this was his first first time to participate in No Shave November. “Students told me to be a part of it and help,” he said. “I like it, and my wife even told me she likes it. But my mother gave me a look like ‘it’s time to shave.’ ”
Jose Hernandez said, “When No Shave November comes around I always join in to help the cause, although I have to shave if it gets to long or my parents will make me shave it all off.”
