Boys XC places at City

Rosalia Salazar and Janet Robles

Both the JV and Varsity boys cross country teams competed and placed 2nd at their City meet this passed weekend behind Bishop Carroll. Junior Brian Ayers placed first in his race which helped the JV team secure 2nd place. “It felt really exhilarating placing 2nd, I’m really excited for what Regionals will bring this weekend,” Ayers said.

Junior Jack Setser who placed 18th in the varsity race said “this is the best team we’ve had in a while,” and that he’s really excited for Regionals. There is one other school that is ranked above our Varsity boys team in Regionals right now but Ayers said they “should make the top 3 and definitely go to State this year.”
