Baseball is off to a rough start this season, due to all of the rain, the games are getting cancelled. The team lost their first two games to Garden City, 11-3 and 9-2. The players were a little nervous since it was their first two games compared to the other schools that have already played multiple games. Also this year there is a new pitching rule, the more a pitcher pitches, the more days they have to rest. If they pitch more than 60 then they have to rest for 3 days. This new rule is making the games hard for the coaches, having to pull pitchers out after so long and throwing new ones into the game.
