On Saturday, January 7th at about 9:00 AM, North hosted a wrestling tournament. At about 11:00 AM our athletic director, Mr.Church, had realized that their score keeping system was not working. Since the entire “wrestling program is internet based” they saw that the scores were not being updated. Not much time passed when they had to start doing all the score keeping by hand. Mr.Church had stated that “It wasn’t hard, but it was different and we got it done.” It extended the tournament by 30 minutes longer than usual. Mr.Church contacted our “genius” technician Mr.Baxter and once he started working on it found out that it was not a district issue but a provider issue from Kansas City where their wires had been cut. At 2:30 PM once it ended all of the fans had no idea what was going on behind the scenes the entire time and went home happy.
