To kick off the new year the boys basketball team suffered a loss at Southeast Tuesday night. Head coach Gary Squires said, “they started out good with a three point lead. In the middle of the quarter they started missing shots, and that led to the second half with no offensive plays and a defensive break. After that southeast took the momentum and won the game,” Squires said.
Tomorrow at Northwest, North will hopes to play a better game. “We need to play better defense as a team and do a better job on offense,” Squires said.
