There are some missing pieces to the front lawn at North High. Due to some trees starting to rot and get too big, there was some unexpected tear down one morning before school.
“First a huge branch fell and blocked the street, then there have been branches that have messed with the power lines. We do worry about branches falling on cars and students,” Ms. Murry said.
The main reason why the large tree was taken down was for safety purposes. It is still up in the air if the tree will be replaced. That one large tree that is now a stump was getting too old and needed to be taken down.
