Volleyball has reached the halfway point of the season and has been finding success on the court. Their record overall is 10-6, getting 4 wins in its last 6 games, defeating Wichita Heights, South, East and West. On Saturday they competed at Campus high in a tournament and finished 2-2. Two Varsity Players are out due to injury. Andrea Hernandez being one of the two is experiencing a grade 3 sprain in her ankle. When asked about this she has stated, “We have a strong team this year and even though there’s been rough patches, we’re still making the most of what we have.” The fate of the team may seem nerve-wracking, however players from the C team stepped up and secured the wins last Tuesday.
The team is back in action tomorrow against Bishop Carroll and East at Carroll.
