Art teacher Tina Thomas and some of her art students sold bowls that they made in their pottery class for Market day.

“There’s been a lot of other fundraisers called ‘chili bowls’ and I wanted to do something a little different,” Thomas said.

The money that was made was donated to the Wichita Children’s Home.

“The Children’s Home helps a lot of our students here at North High and they help a lot of kids in the community,” Thomas said.

Market day overall was a success as the group made $468 over the 2 days. Both students and teachers really enjoyed the day.

“It went really really well,” Thomas said.
