This year’s scholar bowl team made it to state for the first time in over a decade which was a very huge accomplishment for the program.

Evans said that going to state was the most memorable moment of the season. Evans went on to say, “We’ve won pretty much every round we were in so that was a pretty high moment of the season.”

Evans enjoyed bonding with their team and learned a lot throughout the season. Although they had a great season, it was also challenging at times. “While playing at state there were a lot of higher schools there from the city and they were pretty challenging, but we made it to state and that’s all that matters,” Evans said.

When asked about this season’s greatest win they said, “At regionals, we won against East and Bishop Carrol, that was pretty cool.”

The team had an amazing season overall and made history.
