Girls Tennis Win Over Heights

After a tough lost against East High, the girls Varsity tennis rebounded with a solid 9-0 win against Heights High School.

” The girls had good sportsmanship and they were honest about the scores calling their own balls out. Overall it was a great match their coach and parents were respectful during the matches,” said Isabella Hernandez from the North tennis team.

Since Heights only had four players, only two of North’s girls got to play both singles and doubles matches the rest only got to choose one match to play. Due to the heat the team only played an 8-game pro-set with a short deuce.

“I think both teams had a great time playing against each other and it felt good getting a solid win,” says Sandra from the North tennis team.

Overall both teams liked playing and learning new techniques from each other.
