On May 4th EJ Garnes was officially named head coach for the girl basketball program. Athletic Director Tony Douglas said, “I expect Coach Garnes and the team will pick up where they left off (this season). It was a great season and more great things to come.”

Garnes is a graduate of Southeast high school and played basketball collegiately at Allen County Community College and Friends University. He was part of the boys basketball coaching staff last season.
