Jaydon Kammavongsa, Reporter

Do you like to play online video games? If so, I have just the classes for you!

The first class is “Gaming Concepts.” It’s a semester course for any student grades 9-12. In this course, students will participate in a variety of gaming experiences such as demonstration of competency in motor skills, understanding movement concepts, principles, strategics, and tactics as they apply to the learning and performance of specific games, comprehending concepts related to health and preventative care in gamers, demonstrating the ability to use interpersonal communication skills that respect others in an online gaming environment, and analyzing the reciprocal influence of eSports, culture, media, technology, and other factors.

The next class is “Student Coaching.” It’s a full year class, but only for students who will be juniors or seniors next year. You must also have above a 2.75 GPA to enroll in the class.

If you have any questions about any of the classes or you’re wanting to take 1 of these classes next year, you can talk to your counselor, or email [email protected]
