On Wednesday March 3rd, the girls took on East for a spot at state and ended up losing, 62-31. Top scorer was Taryn St.Clair with 11 points.

Head Coach Michael Bailey said, “I am proud how the girls played this year. We have made big strides in improving our play as a team. Their commitment is what brought so much success this year.”

North High hasn’t won a game in over two years until last year and this year they finished with seven wins on the season.

Coach Bailey also stated, “I am looking forward to next season. We will have a big hole to fill with Noel Brown graduating this year, but I am confident that the rest of the team will be able to improve over the offseason to keep the girls basketball program moving in the right direction.”
