The people of Wichita, Kansas and many other cities have been suffering quite a week due to the extensive amount of snow reaching up to 3 inches. The extremely cold weather, reaching to about -18 degrees Fahrenheit left many residents staying indoors and unable to shower due to their water pipes freezing.

Many fellow Kansans experienced power outages due to the power company, Evergy ordering rolling blackouts to prevent mass outages across several states. These power outages left many families to go cold in their homes due to not being able to turn on their heating.

According to North High teacher, Christopher Sinclair, he lost power, which also led to his internet router breaking, causing him to be without internet for multiple days. He ran his classes by connecting his work computer to his cell phone’s hotspot.
