Strong three-point shooting got North off to a fast start Thursday night at the Dodge City Tournament of Champions.
The Redskins raced out to a 21-6 lead after the first quarter, thanks to five three pointers, and held on for a 59-48 win over host Dodge City.
Chase McCollum led North with 15 points, 11 coming in the first quarter. Jonah Carrassco chipped in 12, including two key free throws in the final minutes to secure the win.
North will face Derby in the semi-finals tonight at 8:30 p.m.
