The football team finished off the season with a loss on the road at Derby on Friday night. The Derby Panthers scored 62 points in the first half but the Redskins came back out after halftime determined to keep the Panthers score sheet at 62 and held off the Panthers from scoring in the entire second half.
“It seemed like a typical start for us, we came out dead in the first half but just like this team has done all year we don’t have any quit in us,” Head coach Joe Belden.

It was overall a disappointing season for the football team, ending at 0-9. “Any time you go winless in a season it’s disappointing but, the one thing the kids never did was quit. They continued to get back up over and over again so I’m very proud about that,” Belden said.
Nonetheless after a 62-0 blowout loss to finish of the season, Coach Belden said he is excited for next year and what is to come with a new team and a new season.
