August 29, 2019
North High’s Interior Design class design’s t-shirt’s, blanket’s, and raises money for FCCLA. Last year the class made backpacks and put food and essentials in the bag to give to the homeless.
The blankets/quilts are made for the homeless also or they are sold to raise money for FCCLA. They recycle and reuse items to make the blankets/quilts to save money on the costs it takes to make them. Students have also designed T-shirts and hoodies out of used fabric.
FCCLA also involves food, the culinary arts classes go to competitions with other schools. They have many different programs.
For those who don’t know what FCCLA (Family, Career, and community Leaders of America) is it’s a National Career Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, development and new opportunities for students.
