Junior Tate Miller wins Bizfest
February 15, 2019
North High Junior Tate Miller won the 2019 Bizfest competition last week.
Miller’s winning business plan was about “a more affordable option compared to a bouquet of flowers using recycled pots and plants as a sentimental gift for any occasion.”
Her plan helps people to save money for flowers. Also the flowers gives interactions on how to take care of them and sure they live a long life.
Miller came up with her plan by using her passion to make money.
Bizfest is an intense entrepreneur four-day training that showed Miller her weaknesses and strengths as a entrepreneur.
It is a great way to learn about local business in the community and how they operate.
Miller recommended that students take advantage of the opportunity if they are interested in business.
