K-Pop group ‘TWICE’ releases 6th mini album

TWICE released their 6th mini-album “YES or YES” on November 5th.

The K-Pop sensation TWICE released their 6th mini album titled “YES or YES” on November 5th and it quickly began to top the charts both in Korea and in the United States.

‘TWICE’ consists of 9 members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. They were formed in 2015 through the South Korean reality show “Sixteen” and are signed to JYP Entertainment, huge record label/entertainment company in South Korea. The group debuted on October 20, 2015, with their first album ‘The Story Begins’.

The group made their “comeback” in late October of 2018 with their single “YES or YES” which is seen as a hip-hop track. The song debuted at #1 in South Korea and in Japan. The song’s music video was released on October 31st and it garnered 31.4 million views with in the first 24-hours of its release. The group won various awards for the song in Korea within the first two weeks of its release.

The album also includes the songs “LALALA”, “Young & Wild”, “Sunset” which members Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon and Jihyo are credited with writing lyrics for, and “BDZ” with is a re-release Korean version of a song from their Japanese album of the same name.
