Increasing happiness one Monday at a time

On Monday, the mindfulness group met to increase their happiness by letting go of resistance. Letting go of resistance is being able to let things be okay as they are. It is letting go of the absolute control people strive to have. Everyone has a preconceived idea of how things should go, but the reality is usually much different. Realeasing the assumptions of life will make it easier to find peace in everyday life. After the idea of letting go of resistance was in students’ minds, they listened to a guided meditation that helped calm our minds from the busy day.
