The 2018 volleyball team played for the last time on October 15th against the Eisenhower Tigers and the Maize South Mavericks. They unfortunately lost both games ending the season with a 8-22 overall standing. Coach Jessica Keys said, “I felt like I could see such improvements in our ability and skills as the season went on. Other coaches and officials would make comments about how much better we became, but there is still a part of me that believes we didn’t let our record show what we could really accomplish.” Although their record was not the best this year, they will be back next year to work hard and prove themselves. “That becomes my next step, to create a culture in the volleyball gym that works hard to deserve to win and an expectation that we can win against any opponent,” Keys said.
