Mindful Monday’s

Mindfulness is, by definition on (dictionary.com), “a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as therapeutic technique.” Every Monday, starting October 1st, Mindful Mondays will be held in the New Gym mezzanine during lunch. It is open to everyone who wants to participate in relieving stress and focusing on the present. Ms.Stutey one of the organizers of the club said,” We are hoping to give people a quiet space to de-stress and take some time to slow their mind down.”
