If you have been in the library you may have noticed a new clerk behind the desk.

Perla Olivas replaced Janet Richardson who stepped down during the summer.

Olivas is currently studying to get her masters in school counseling/clinical mental health. Olivas was familiar with North because her daughter and her sister both graduated from North.

She has been a librarian assistant for the Wichita Public Library for two years. Her goals while working at North is to provide the best service for our students and staff. Olivas attended Skyline High School in Pratt and has attended Dodge City Community College and Friends University.

Her favorite hobbies are hanging out with her two daughters and taking mini vacations.  Her goal is to be a school counselor.
