This year, students came back with an unexpected change during their lunch time. Usually, students would spend lunch time playing basketball, volleyball, or just talking with friends down in the traditional gym. However, this time the traditional gym gets an all new brighter look rather than the darker look that was there before. “We design it to look the exact same. Every pattern is the same, the color is a lot lighter than before but it’s the exact same format,” Athletic Director Michael Church said. “Once the janitorial staff has cleaned the gym it will be open 1st hour on Monday (August 27). North never backs down from tradition keeping everything the same but just a hint of freshness.”
