After 7 years of teaching English at North High School, Mr. Horning has decided to leave for Wilbur Middle School.
“Some teachers know they want to teach elementary or high school- that hasn’t always been the case for me.”
Next school year Mr. Horning will be teaching 7th grade English at Wilbur middle school. While Mr. Horning enjoyed his time at North, he decided it was time for a change.
“I like middle school because I get to work with kids that I believe is a difficult age for them, I’m hoping to give them a good foundation for their high school years,” Horning said.
Mr. Horning will always remember the kids he taught at North.
“I look forward to seeing my students day by day” Horning said, “And I’m going to miss the school a lot, the kids & the staff,” Horning said.
