With second semester underway, certain sophomores have been given the opportunity to go off campus during lunch.

Sophomores who have earned 10 credits or more can pick up a “Lunch Pass” form from Academy one and must turn it in with a parents signature by January 12th to get their lunch pass.  Sophomores can only go to Walgreens, Gorditas Durango and Riverside Cafe during lunch for safety reasons. “It’s a great opportunity but there is a lot of limits to it so I feel as if its not really worth it,” sophomore Marlen Castaneda said. “But at the same time, you get what you get.”
