The Arc’s Lights on Douglas and St.Paul is one of the largest fundraisers in the Sedgwick County area. The donations collected on Sunday – Thursdays help out people and families with intellectual disabilities.  YESS (Youth Empowerment and Support Service), Circle of Friends, Youth activities, and Adult days are some of the many fundraisers that the donations go to.

Director Kevin Fish has set up pictures with Santa every night, and is posted on their Facebook page.

21 years running, opening on Thanksgiving night and ending two days after Christmas, you can get to see over 1.3 million lights for only 10 dollars a carload. The light show starts at 5:30 and runs until 10. On Christmas Eve, the show runs until 11. Weeks of preparation is put in by volunteers to make the street light up.
