The Marching Redskins performed at the Neewollah Marching Band Festival in Independence, KS on Saturday, October 28th and scored 1s. The drumline also received the “Best In Class” award.

The band was also awarded 3rd Best Music and 3rd Overall Drumline, Saxophone player Sabian Garcia said “it was so cool seeing the band come together and perform well.” Personally, he thought it was his “best performance up to date.”

The Marching Redskins performed against many other schools from around the state including other schools from the Wichita area like South High and East High’s bands who also scored ones.

The bands next performance is tonight, October 30th at South High’s stadium for Band-O-Rama where all Wichita area high schools will perform as well.
