The North high cross country team had an exciting first meet at Lake Afton last Saturday at the Bishop Carroll Invitational. Seven runners received medals. The varsity team medalist include Morgan Smith coming in 21st, Gabriel Chinya in 13th, Jared Milner in 15th, Michael Iyali in 17th, and Issac Nelson in 20th. Looking back coach Nigg said, “I felt anxious to see how we compared to the other schools and what they looked like.” Looking forward Nigg claimed, “I felt better about this meet seeing how the previous meet went. This course is new to the north runners and we will see schools we wouldn’t normally see.
