On Wednesday, March 29th, students in the class of 2017 will have the opportunity to audition for the commencement or the convocation speech. The only requirements are to audition and to be on track to graduate on May 10th, 2017.  Auditions will be Wednesday March 29th before school or after school until 5:00 p.m. Students must sign up to audition on Tuesday March 28th. Students who audition must have a speech already written, and several copies of the speech. Students will be auditioning in front of a panel of North High teachers. The panel will then choose who will speak at both convocation and commencement. According North High School’s speech teacher Mrs. Klincik the best speeches that students have given had anecdotes about their own lives and their experience as a North High School student.
