JROTC’s season ended on Saturday as they competed in their final meet at West High School. “We won 5 trophies on Saturday and most of them were 2nd and 3rd trophies so were very happy with the outcome,” said Major Philips.  This year was Major Philips and Sargent Major’s first years as the heads of North High’s JROTC program so it was a slow start for their cadets adjusting to new instructors. “The team suffered some turmoil at the start of the season but they overcame it as the season progressed.

Overall the cadets were happy with their performance but thought they could do better. “I don’t think we did as good as we could have done but it was better than we have been doing,”said Cadet Brett Goldman.
