The Girls swim team had their first practice this past Monday and head coach Megan Von Fange is anxious to get the season started.

“I think this is going to be a good year, we have a lot of returning swimmers and that will help us compete in the City League,” Von Fange said.

Von Fange has 5 strong returning swimmers: Andrea Cox, Autumn Reaves, Laurel Franklin, Lyndsey Fleming, and Emma Adams.

Senior Andrea Cox is excited for her senior season.

“As a team I think we will improve so much as the season goes on, I want us to score a lot as a team. Individually I want to qualify for state again and place,” Cox said.

The Girls Swim team will compete on April 6th at Northwest High School.
